Raising funds for good causes

Year 8 students spent the afternoon of the 9th July, raising funds for a charity of their choice.

Following the IHS EPQ programme of study, the experience culminates in a charity fundraising event at the school.  A number of charities were chosen from local charities to national ones like Cancer research.  For a first ever attempt at this, students were able to raise over £250.  What was exceptional, was the Y7s already looking at how they will exceed this in their event next year!
