Our Values

Ready

Being ready at Ixworth High school means arriving prepared to engage fully in all aspects of school life. This involves having the necessary equipment, completing homework on time, and being mentally and physically ready to learn each day. It also means being open to new challenges, ready to participate in class discussions, and willing to support peers. Whether it’s a new topic in class, a group project, or a school event, being ready ensures you can make the most of every opportunity to learn, grow, and contribute to the school community.

Respectful

Respect at Ixworth High School is about valuing and treating everyone in the school community—students, teachers, and staff—with kindness and consideration. It means listening to others, appreciating different opinions, and following the school rules. Respect also involves taking care of the school environment, showing pride in your work, and being mindful of how your actions affect others. By fostering a culture of respect, we create a positive and supportive atmosphere where everyone can learn, grow, and succeed together.

Safe

Being safe at Ixworth High School means looking out for your own well-being and the well-being of others. This involves following school rules, such as walking calmly in corridors, using equipment properly, and adhering to online safety guidelines. It also means being aware of your surroundings, reporting any concerns to a teacher or staff member, and treating everyone with kindness to prevent bullying or harassment. By making safety a priority, we create a secure and welcoming environment where everyone can focus on learning and thriving.
